This Privacy Policy ("Policy") was last updated on August 2004.
By using the Site you are agreeing to be bound by the Partner Agreement ("Agreement") and Privacy Policy ("Policy"), including all amendments made to date. The Agreement and Policy may be modified by Heart2Heart Network ("H2H") from time to time, such modifications to be effective upon posting by H2H on the Site. If you disagree with anything in the Agreement or Policy, please do not use the Site or any services provided in connection with the Site.

Information Collected by Heart2Heart Network™
For the purposes of this Policy, users of the Site made up of Guests and Partners.
Guests to the Site are able to browse the Site and view information on the Site without entering any personal information. Only such information as is captured automatically by our statistical reporting engine and database records is kept. Examples of this information would be:
- your IP address
- your platform, operating system and browser information
- your path through the Site
Partners of the Site will be required to supply some general personal information when they create an account. This information may include, but is not limited to:
- your company name
- your name
- your location
- your email address
- your telephone number
Your email address will be used only in communication between yourself and authorized representatives of H2H for the purpose of keeping you informed of changes or additions to the Site from time to time.
Be assured, we will not sell, lend or otherwise distribute your email address to external/third parties unless we have your express consent.
Private Information
Private information, in the context of this Policy, is information that may be personally identifying.
Your Private information including your name and email address will not be made Public and will never be seen by other Partners unless you yourself post this information in a public area. Be advised, we do not encourage or allow such information in public areas and if you are found to be posting personally identifying information in such areas, we will remove it as per the terms of our Partner Agreement.
Your Account Name and Password are also considered private. If you forget your account name and password, we will send it to you at the email address you provided when you created your account.
Registration and Special Promotions
When you create your account or at other times during your Partnership, you may be offered the opportunity to receive information from third parties or to register for third-party products or services. By choosing to accept such opportunities, you consent to H2H's disclosure of your contact and demographic information to that third party. Please remember that the use of your contact and demographic information by the applicable third party will be governed by that third party's own privacy policy guidelines.
From time to time, and only with a Partner's permission or participation, H2H may share information (such as but not limited to first names, gender and mailing and/or email addresses) in conjunction with companies who may organize, but is not limited to, promotions or online surveys for the Site. Participation in these surveys, contests and promotions are optional.
Partners may opt out of certain programs by emailing partners@heart2heartnetwork.com.
Aggregate demographic information, such as browser-type or information collected through the registration process, may be shared with potential advertisers on the site and other partners. This aggregate information is not traceable to an individual Member.
Use of Cookies
A cookie is a small line of data that is stored on your hard drive. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to personally identifiable information.

How We Use Your Information
Except where you are expressly informed otherwise or as described in this Policy, H2H does not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of your personal information except to financial institutions when fees may be required or for the protection of your membership.
Your email address will be used to communicate important information about your Membership. These communications are not optional because they are necessary to your enjoyment of the Site. For example, when you create your account, we will send an automatic email to welcome you to the Site and provide you with your Account Name and Password for your records.
When you create your account, you may also opt-in to receive promotional news, discount offers and special announcements. This is absolutely optional.
We will not sell, rent or make available to any third parties without your consent any personally identifying information, however H2H reserves the right to cooperate with local, provincial and national authorities in any investigation requiring either personal information, including any personal information, including messages, provided online through the Site, or reports about lawful or unlawful user activities on this site.
All information provided directly or indirectly by Partners is stored, at H2H's sole discretion, for as long as you a Partner of the Site or for six (6) months for archival purposes.
Correcting/Updating or Removing Your Information
If you'd like to amend any of the information you have given H2H, you can email us at partners@heart2heartnetwork.com or sign in to the Site and edit your information on the My Account page.
Security
H2H takes every precaution to secure your private information.
All private information is restricted and protected by technological and/or software security solutions. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example Partner Services who may require information to verify your identity) are granted access to personally identifiable information.

Exchange Monitoring
Partners communicate directly with each other through the Site via onsite bulletin boards/forums. While H2H does not as a rule monitor private conversations, H2H reserves the right to do so if we suspect Partners of using the Site in a manner that violates the terms of the Privacy Policy or the Partner Agreement.
Partner submissions that are considered public and viewable by the general public are always reviewed and, if necessary, H2H reserves the right to edit, delete, remove or not use any content or information supplied by a Member.
Children
Partners must be 18 years of age or older to apply. H2H does not knowingly solicit data from children, nor do we knowingly market to children.
Linked Internet Sites
Members should be aware that other Internet sites to which Partners may hyperlink from the Site may contain privacy policies that differ from ours. H2H is not responsible for such policies and expressly disclaims any and all liability related to such policies.
Amendments to this Privacy Policy
From time to time H2H may revise this Policy. Your continued use of the Site now, or following the posting of notice of any changes to the Policy, will constitute a binding acceptance by you of this Policy, or any subsequent modifications.
